Direct Donations

Every donation helps Forward Facing continue our work with children and families living with life-limiting illness or disability. We rely entirely on the generosity of others, and everything we do is made possible through the kindness and support of those who give. However you choose to donate, your contribution helps us plan ahead and keep creating special moments for those we support.

You can make a one-off donation, set up a regular monthly gift, leave a legacy in your will, or make an in memory donation to celebrate someone’s life. Each contribution, whatever the size, helps us continue providing the care, connection and experiences that mean so much to the families we support.

Funding Partners

Major donors, charitable foundations and philanthropic partners make a lasting difference to what we can achieve. Your funding helps us deliver more of the things that matter — from large-scale family days and sporting events to wellbeing activities, counselling and memory-making experiences.

Significant donations also help us plan further ahead, create more consistent opportunities, and cover essential running costs that keep the charity operating smoothly. This kind of partnership gives us the stability to grow and the flexibility to respond where support is needed most.

If you represent a foundation looking to support our work — or you’ve reached this page after receiving a funding application from us — please get in touch for more information. We’d love to hear from you.

Fundraising

There are plenty of ways to support Forward Facing through fundraising. It’s a great way to raise money, connect with others, and have some fun along the way. You might organise a quiz night, host a cake sale, hold a raffle, take part in a sponsored walk or join a charity run. However you choose to take part, your efforts help us continue creating opportunities for families to spend quality time together.

You can also help by supporting others who are fundraising on our behalf. Every donation keeps their motivation high and helps us reach even more families. Find an event to sponsor today and be part of something that makes a real difference.

Corporate Support

Partnering with Forward Facing is a meaningful way for your company to give back and make a genuine difference. Business partnerships provide practical support that helps us run events, deliver activities and keep our charity operating smoothly.

Companies help in all sorts of ways. Some sponsor events or offer discounts on their services; others provide venues, donate prizes, or involve their teams through volunteering. Many choose us as their charity of the year, take part in matched-funding schemes, or organise group fundraising activities. Every partnership adds real value and helps us reach more families.

If your business would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to contact us to explore partnership opportunities.

Volunteer

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, and we simply couldn’t run Forward Facing without them. There’s a lot that goes into making each of our events special, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gives their time and energy to help make it happen.

Our volunteers take on all kinds of roles — from setting up venues and welcoming families, to serving food and drinks, helping children find costumes, painting faces, or lending a hand behind the scenes. Others help with deliveries, keep our lock-up garage organised, or support the office with day-to-day tasks. Every role, big or small, helps our events run smoothly and ensures families feel cared for and supported.

We’re always looking for friendly, reliable people to join our volunteer team. If you’d like to get involved, please get in touch — we’d love to hear from you.
